Testing the Spirits

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1Th 5:212Pe 2:11Ti 4:12Jn 1:7Pro 14:15Mat 24:4-5Jer 29:8-9Mat 7:15-16 By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, Jhn 1:141Co 12:31Ti 3:161Jn 4:31Jn 5:1Jhn 16:13-151Jn 2:23 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus 1is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time. 1Jn 2:222Jn 1:71Jn 2:182Th 2:3-8

You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Rom 8:311Jn 5:4Rom 8:371Jn 4:161Co 2:12Rom 8:10-111Jn 5:19Eph 6:12-13 They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them. Love Comes from God

Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1Jn 4:201Jn 4:81Pe 1:221Jn 2:10Gal 5:221Th 4:9-102Ti 1:71Jn 4:12 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1Jn 4:161Jn 4:7Psa 86:152Co 13:11Psa 86:5Eph 2:4Exo 34:6-71Jn 1:5

This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only 3Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. Jhn 3:161Jn 5:11Rom 8:321Jn 4:10Jhn 6:57Jhn 11:25-26Jhn 10:10Jhn 10:28-30 And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice 4for our sins. Eph 2:4-5Rom 5:8-101Jn 4:191Jn 2:2Jhn 15:161Jn 4:8-9Jhn 3:161Jn 3:1

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Jhn 15:12-13Col 3:13Jhn 13:341Jn 3:23Luk 10:371Jn 3:16-172Co 8:8-9Eph 4:31 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. Jhn 1:181Jn 2:51Jn 4:17-181Ti 6:161Jn 4:201Jn 3:24Exo 33:201Jn 4:6 By this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 1Jn 3:24Eph 2:20-221Co 3:16-17Gal 5:22-251Co 2:121Jn 4:15-16Rom 8:9-17Jhn 14:20-26 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. 1Jn 4:10Jhn 3:16-17Jhn 1:14Jhn 4:421Jn 2:1-2Jhn 1:29Jhn 15:26-271Jn 5:9

If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. Rom 10:9Mat 10:321Jn 5:51Jn 3:241Jn 4:2Php 2:111Jn 4:121Jn 5:1 And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1Jn 3:24Psa 36:7-91Jn 3:11Jn 4:8-10Psa 18:1-31Jn 4:12-131Jn 3:16Psa 31:19 In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him. 1Jn 2:281Jn 4:121Jn 2:5Rom 8:291Jn 3:31Jn 3:19-21Jhn 15:201Jn 3:1

There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. 2Ti 1:7Rom 8:151Jn 4:12Luk 1:74-75Heb 12:28Jas 2:19Psa 119:120Psa 73:19 We love 5because He first loved us. 1Jn 4:10Jhn 3:16Jhn 15:16Tit 3:3-52Co 5:14-15Luk 7:47Eph 2:3-5Gal 5:22

If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 1Jn 3:171Jn 2:91Jn 4:121Jn 2:41Jn 2:111Pe 1:81Jn 1:6 And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well.
