But Solomon did not consign any of the Israelites to slave labor, because they were his men of war, his officers and captains, and the commanders of his chariots and cavalry. 1Sa 8:11-12Exo 19:5-6Gal 4:26Gal 4:31Lev 25:39-46 They were also the chief officers for King Solomon: 250 supervisors. 1Ki 5:161Ki 9:232Ch 2:18

Solomon brought the daughter of Pharaoh up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her. For he said, “My wife must not live in the house of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the LORD has entered are holy.” 1Ki 3:11Ki 7:81Ki 9:242Pe 1:18Exo 29:43Exo 3:5Ezk 21:2

At that time Solomon offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD he had built in front of the portico. 2Ch 4:11Ch 28:172Ch 15:8Ezk 8:16Jhn 10:23Jol 2:17 He observed the daily requirement for offerings according to the commandment of Moses for Sabbaths, New Moons, and the three annual appointed feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, 3 the Feast of Weeks, 4 and the Feast of Tabernacles. 5 Deu 16:16Exo 29:38-42Ezk 46:3-151Ki 9:25Exo 23:14-17Ezk 45:17Lev 23:1-17Num 28:1-29

In keeping with the ordinances of his father David, Solomon appointed the divisions of the priests over their service, and the Levites for their duties to offer praise and to minister before the priests according to the daily requirement. He also appointed gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate, for this had been the command of David, the man of God. 1Ch 9:17Ezr 6:18Neh 12:24Neh 12:361Ch 15:16-221Ch 16:4-61Ch 16:421Ch 23:1 They did not turn aside from the king’s command regarding the priests or the Levites or any matter concerning the treasuries. 1Ch 9:291Ki 7:512Ch 30:12Exo 39:42-431Ch 26:20-26
