A Lame Man Walks

One afternoon Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 1 Psa 55:17Act 10:3Act 4:13Luk 1:10Luk 24:53Act 5:25Act 8:14Dan 6:10 And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts. 2 Act 14:8Jhn 9:8Luk 16:20Act 10:31Luk 18:35Act 10:4Act 4:22Jhn 1:9-30 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.

Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter. Act 14:9-10Jhn 11:40Act 3:12Luk 4:20Jhn 5:6Act 11:6 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong. Mrk 1:31Mrk 9:27Act 9:41Mrk 5:41Luk 13:13 He sprang to his feet and began to walk. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, Act 4:16Act 4:21Luk 13:17Act 14:11Mrk 2:11-12 they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Peter Speaks in Solomon’s Colonnade

(Deuteronomy 18:15–22)
