Cast Your Bread upon the Waters

Cast your bread upon the waters, Ecc 11:6Pro 19:17Heb 6:10Mat 10:422Co 9:6Isa 32:20Psa 41:1-2Gal 6:8-10

for after many days you will find it again.

Divide your portion among seven, or even eight, 1Ti 6:18-19Job 5:19Psa 112:9Luk 6:30-35Pro 6:16Act 11:28-30Dan 4:27Est 9:19

for you do not know what disaster may befall the land.

If the clouds are full, 1Jn 3:17Isa 55:10-11Psa 65:9-13Luk 13:71Ki 18:45Luk 16:22-26Mat 3:10

they will pour out rain upon the earth;

whether a tree falls to the south or to the north,

in the place where it falls, there it will lie.

He who watches the wind will fail to sow, Pro 20:4Pro 3:27Pro 22:13

and he who observes the clouds will fail to reap.

As you do not know the path of the wind, Jhn 3:8Ecc 8:17Psa 92:5Rom 11:33Isa 40:28Psa 104:24Psa 139:13-16Ecc 7:24

or how the bones are formed 1in a mother’s womb,

so you cannot understand the work of God,

the Maker of all things.

Sow your seed in the morning, 2Co 9:10-11Isa 55:10Hag 1:6-11Hos 10:122Co 9:6Zec 8:11-12Jhn 4:36-381Co 3:5-7

and do not rest your hands in the evening,

for you do not know which will succeed,

whether this or that, or if both will equally prosper.

Enjoy Your Years

Light is sweet, Ecc 7:11Mat 5:45Pro 15:30Psa 84:11Job 33:30Pro 29:13Ecc 6:5Job 33:28

and it pleases the eyes to see the sun.

So if a man lives many years, Jhn 12:35Deu 32:29Ecc 7:14Jol 2:2Ecc 12:1-5Ecc 6:11Ecc 8:12Ecc 8:15

let him rejoice in them all.

But let him remember the days of darkness,

for they will be many.

Everything to come is futile.

Rejoice, O young man, while you are young, Ecc 12:141Jn 2:15-16Ecc 12:1Ecc 3:17Lam 3:272Co 5:10Job 31:7Heb 9:27

and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth.

Walk in the ways of your heart

and in the sight of your eyes,

but know that for all these things

God will bring you to judgment.

So banish sorrow from your heart, 2Co 7:12Ti 2:22Ecc 1:2Ecc 1:14Ecc 12:12Pe 3:11-14Job 20:11Psa 39:5

and cast off pain from your body,

for youth and vigor are fleeting. 2
