Paul’s Greeting to the Galatians

Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead— Gal 1:11-121Co 1:1Act 9:15-16Rev 1:5Rom 1:12Co 1:1Eph 3:8Act 22:14-21 and all the brothers with me, Php 4:211Co 16:1Act 16:5-6Act 18:23Php 2:22Act 9:31Act 15:41

No Other Gospel

I am amazed how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 2Co 11:4Gal 5:7-8Isa 29:13Psa 106:13Gal 3:1-51Ti 1:3Gal 4:9-15Jer 2:12-13 which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ. Act 15:24Rom 16:17-18Gal 5:102Co 11:13Act 15:1-51Jn 4:12Co 2:172Jn 1:10

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a curse! 2Co 11:13-14Gal 1:9Rev 22:18-191Co 16:22Rom 9:3Mat 25:411Co 12:31Ti 1:19-20 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be under a curse! Paul Preaches the Gospel

Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ. 1Th 2:4Act 5:29Eph 6:6Jas 4:4Mat 22:16Col 3:222Co 5:9-11Rom 2:29 For I certify to you, brothers, that the gospel I preached was not devised by man. 2 Gal 1:11Co 2:9-10Eph 3:3-81Co 11:231Co 15:1-3Rom 2:16 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. 1Co 2:10Gal 1:16Gal 1:12Co 12:11Co 11:23

For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, how severely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. 1Co 15:9Act 22:3-5Act 8:3Act 26:4-51Ti 1:13Act 26:9-11Act 9:21Act 9:26 I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. Col 2:8Act 26:5Act 22:3Php 3:4-6Mat 15:61Pe 1:8Act 26:9Jer 9:14

But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased Jer 1:5Isa 49:5Isa 49:12Ti 1:9Eph 1:51Co 1:92Th 2:13-14Rom 1:1 to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not rush to consult with flesh and blood, Mat 16:17Eph 3:5-10Eph 1:17-181Co 2:9-132Co 4:6Act 22:21Act 26:17-20Act 9:15 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles who came before me, but I went into Arabia and later returned to Damascus. Act 9:20-252Co 11:32-33Gal 1:18

Only after three years did I go up to Jerusalem to confer with Cephas, 3 and I stayed with him fifteen days. Act 9:22-23Act 22:17-18Act 9:26-29 But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother. Later I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia. Act 15:41Act 6:9Act 9:30Act 11:25-26Act 13:1Act 15:23Act 18:18Act 21:3 I was personally unknown, however, to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 1Th 2:14Rom 16:71Co 1:301Th 1:12Th 1:1Act 9:31Php 1:1 They only heard the account: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” 1Co 15:8-101Ti 1:13-16Act 9:13Act 9:20Act 9:26Act 6:7 And they glorified God because of me.
