The Offering of Isaac

“Here I am,” he answered.
“Take your son,” God said, “your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.” Jhn 3:16Rom 8:32Heb 11:171Jn 4:9-10Gen 17:19Gen 22:12Gen 22:162Ki 3:27
So Abraham got up early the next morning, saddled his donkey, and took along two of his servants and his son Isaac. He split the wood for a burnt offering and set out for the place God had designated. Psa 119:60Mat 10:37Luk 14:26Ecc 9:10Gal 1:16Gen 17:23Gen 21:14Heb 11:17-19

Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac. He himself carried the fire and the sacrificial knife, and the two of them walked on together. Jhn 19:171Pe 2:24Isa 53:6Mat 8:17Luk 24:26-27

“Here I am, my son,” he replied.
“The fire and the wood are here,” said Isaac, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”

When they arrived at the place God had designated, Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood. He bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar, atop the wood. The LORD Provides the Sacrifice

“Here I am,” he replied.

Then Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram 3in a thicket, caught by its horns. Abraham went back to his servants, and they got up and set out together for Beersheba. And Abraham settled in Beersheba. Gen 21:31Jdg 20:1Jos 15:28
The Sons of Nahor
Some time later, Abraham was told, “Milcah has also borne sons to your brother Nahor: Gen 11:29Gen 24:24Gen 11:26Gen 24:10Gen 24:15Gen 31:53Pro 25:25 Uz the firstborn, his brother Buz, Kemuel (the father of Aram), Job 1:1Gen 24:10Job 32:2Num 23:7Psa 60:1-12 Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel.”
