Judgment on Babylon

This is what the LORD says: Amo 3:6Hos 13:15Jer 4:11-122Ki 19:7Act 9:4Ezk 19:12Isa 13:3-5Jer 49:36

Jeremiah’s Message to Seraiah

This is the message that Jeremiah the prophet gave to the quartermaster Seraiah son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went to Babylon with King Zedekiah of Judah in the fourth year of Zedekiah’s reign. Jer 32:12Jer 36:4Jer 28:1Jer 45:1Jer 52:1 Jeremiah had written on a single scroll about all the disaster that would come upon Babylon—all these words that had been written concerning Babylon. Hab 2:2-3Isa 30:8Jer 30:2-3Jer 36:32Dan 12:4Isa 8:1-4Jer 36:2-4Rev 1:11

And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, “When you get to Babylon, see that you read all these words aloud, Mrk 13:11Th 4:181Th 5:27Col 4:16Jer 29:1-2Mat 24:1Rev 1:3 and say, ‘O LORD, You have promised to cut off this place so that no one will remain—neither man nor beast. Indeed, it will be desolate forever.’ Jer 50:13Jer 50:3Ezk 35:9Isa 13:19-22Isa 14:22-23Jer 50:39-40Rev 18:20-23Jer 25:12

When you finish reading this scroll, tie a stone to it and cast it into the Euphrates. Rev 18:21Jer 19:10-11 Then you are to say, ‘In the same way Babylon will sink and never rise again, because of the disaster I will bring upon her. And her people will grow weary.’” Jer 51:58Job 31:40Nam 1:8-9Psa 72:20Rev 18:21Hab 2:13Jer 25:27Jer 51:42
