and such a speaker be vindicated?

Will you scoff without rebuke?

You have said, ‘My doctrine is sound, Job 10:7Job 6:101Pe 3:15Job 14:4Job 34:5-6Job 35:2Job 6:29-30Job 7:20

and I am pure in Your sight.’

But if only God would speak Job 38:1-2Job 23:3-7Job 31:35Job 33:6-18Job 40:1-5Job 40:8Job 42:7

and open His lips against you,

for true wisdom has two sides.

Know then that God exacts from you

less than your iniquity deserves.

or discover the limits of the Almighty?

They are deeper than Sheol—what can you know?

and wider than the sea.

or convenes a court, who can stop Him?

If He sees iniquity, does He not take note?

than the colt of a wild donkey can be born a man! 1

and lift up your hands to Him,

and allow no injustice to dwell in your tents,

you will stand firm and unafraid.
