God Remains Faithful

What, then, is the advantage of being a Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Gen 25:32Rom 2:25-29Ecc 6:11Ecc 6:8Heb 13:91Co 15:32Isa 1:11-15Mal 3:14 Much in every way. First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words 1of God. Act 7:38Rom 9:4Neh 9:13-14Psa 147:19-201Co 9:171Pe 4:11Heb 5:122Pe 1:19-21

What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? 2Ti 2:13Heb 4:2Rom 9:6Isa 55:11Tit 1:1-21Sa 15:292Th 1:3Num 23:19 Certainly not! Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written: Psa 51:4Psa 116:11Gal 2:17Heb 6:18Deu 32:4Tit 1:2Jhn 3:33Job 36:3

and victorious when You judge.” 2

But if our unrighteousness highlights the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unjust to inflict His wrath on us? I am speaking in human terms. There Is No One Righteous

(Psalms 14:1–7; Psalms 53:1–6; Isaiah 59:1–17)

What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we have already made the charge that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin. Gal 3:22Rom 6:15Isa 65:5Rom 11:32Rom 3:22-23Rom 3:191Co 14:151Co 4:7 As it is written: Psa 53:1-3Psa 14:1-3Rom 3:231Jn 1:8-10Job 15:14Job 25:4Mrk 7:21-22Mrk 10:18

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Gal 3:10Gal 3:22-23Rom 2:12-18Rom 3:9Gal 5:18Ezk 16:631Co 1:29Rom 3:23 Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law. For the law merely brings awareness of sin. Righteousness through Faith in Christ

(Philippians 3:1–11)

But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets. Act 10:43Jer 33:16Php 3:9Jer 23:5-6Gal 3:8Isa 51:8Isa 61:10Heb 10:1-14 And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, Rom 10:12Gal 3:28Gal 2:16Rom 8:1Rom 5:1-11Col 3:11Gal 3:6-9Php 3:9 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Ecc 7:201Jn 1:8-10Gal 3:22Rom 3:9Rom 11:32Rom 3:191Th 2:122Th 2:14 and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. 1Pe 1:18-19Tit 3:5-7Col 1:14Eph 1:6-7Rom 5:9Tit 2:14Rom 4:161Co 1:30

God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice 9through faith in His blood, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. Rom 3:23-241Pe 1:18-201Jn 4:101Jn 2:2Col 1:20-23Heb 9:14-22Rom 5:9Act 13:38-39 He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus. Deu 32:4Rom 4:5Act 13:38-39Rom 3:30Isa 42:21Psa 85:10-11Rom 8:33Zep 3:5

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of works? No, but on that of faith. Rom 4:2Rom 2:231Co 1:29-31Eph 2:8-10Gal 3:22Rom 2:171Jn 5:11-12Rom 7:21 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law. Tit 3:7Gal 2:16Gal 3:24Gal 3:8Rom 3:26Jas 2:24Php 3:9Rom 4:5

Is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, Col 3:11Eph 3:6Zec 2:11Gal 3:14Gal 3:25-29Rom 9:24-26Zec 8:20-23Jer 16:19 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Gal 3:8Gal 3:20Php 3:3Col 2:10-11Gal 2:14-16Gal 5:6Gal 6:15Rom 4:11-12

Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law. Gal 2:21Mat 5:17Rom 10:4Rom 13:8-101Co 9:21Rom 8:4Rom 7:7-14Gal 3:17-19
