Amnon

David’s oldest son by his wife Ahinoam. He was born in Hebron (2 Samuel 3:2; 1 Chronicles 3:1). Amnon deceived and violated Tamar, his beautiful half-sister. He was killed in revenge by Tamar’s brother Absalom (2 Samuel 13:1–33).

The first son of Shimon from Judah’s tribe (1 Chronicles 4:20).
