Apocalypse of Bartholomew

These Coptic fragments resemble the Gospel of Bartholomew, an ancient apocryphal writing (a text not included in the Hebrew Bible but accepted by some Christian groups). A few scholars thought these fragments represented two different writings: a gospel and an apocalypse. Most scholars no longer hold this view, but some still refer to these fragments as the Apocalypse of Bartholomew.
