Bigvai

An ancestor of a group of people who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel after the exile in Babylon (Ezra 2:2, 14; Nehemiah 7:7, 19). Since his name is Persian, Bigvai may have been born or renamed during the exile.

A political leader who signed Ezra's covenant with Nehemiah and others after the exile in Babylon (Nehemiah 10:16). He may have been related to the Bigvai who was the ancestor of the returning exiles.
