Bithiah

Bithiah was the wife of Mered. She may have been an Egyptian princess. However, the phrase "Pharaoh’s daughter" may simply mean that she was Egyptian (1 Chronicles 4:17–18). Her name means “daughter of Yah.”) Yah is a shortened form of Yahweh, the name of God. This name may suggest that Bithiah was a Jewish convert.
