Biziothiah, Bizjothjah

Biziothiah was a city in the Negev Desert (Joshua 15:28). The King James Version calls it “Bizjothjah.”

The Greek text in the Septuagint reads "and her daughters." This may mean that Biziothiah was not a separate place. Instead, the text may refer to the group of villages around Hazar-shual and Beersheba.

This translation is possible with a small change to the Hebrew text. However, it is difficult to know what the Hebrew text originally said.
