Carbuncle
Carbuncle is a red or fire-colored precious stone, like a garnet or ruby. Some Bible translations, like the King James Version, use the word “carbuncle” for one of the stones on the high priest’s breastpiece (“emerald” in the Berean Standard Bible, Exodus 28:17).
