Chrysoprase, Chrysoprasus

Chyrsoprase is a light-green or apple-green form of chalcedony, which is a type of quartz. Small amounts of nickel give the stone its green color. People often use chrysoprase to make jewelry.

Revelation 21:20 mentions it as one of the gems in the foundation wall of the New Jerusalem. The King James Version uses the name “chrysoprasus.”
