Cloak

A cloak was a loose outer garment worn over other clothing. It helped protect a person from cold, wind, or rain and could also be used as a covering at night.

Several Hebrew and Greek words are translated “cloak” in English Bibles, so the exact style of the garment may differ from one passage to another.
