Crystal
Crystal is a variety of quartz. It is usually clear or almost clear. Several Hebrew and Greek words are translated as “crystal” in English Bibles.
Job compares wisdom with gold and crystal. He says that neither can equal the value of wisdom (Job 28:17). Some translations use "glass" instead of "crystal."
In Revelation, the Greek word krystallos may refer to clear rock crystal or to ice. The writer compares a sea, a precious stone, and the river of life to crystal because they are bright and clear (Revelation 4:6, 21:11; 22:1).
