Eliasaph

A leader of the tribe of Gad chosen by Moses. He was the son of Deuel (Reuel) (Numbers 1:14; 2:14; 7:42, 47; 10:20).

A Gershonite from the tribe of Levi and the son of Lael. He had three responsibilities in the tribe:

to take care of the tabernacle coverings;

to take care of the curtains of the court; and

to take care of the main altar (Numbers 3:24–25).
