Enoch (Person)

1. Cain’s son and grandson of Adam (Gn 4:17, 19).

2. Jared’s son among the descendants of Seth; Methuselah’s father (Gn 5:18–24; 1 Chr 1:3). He lived in such close relationship to God that he was taken to heaven without having died.
