Gaash

A mountain about 32.2 kilometers (20 miles) southwest of Shechem. The Israelites buried Joshua at Timnath-serah (Timnath-heres). This was in the hill country of Ephraim, near Mount Gaash (Joshua 24:30; Judges 2:9).

A stream near the mountain of Gaash. It was the home of Hiddai (or Hurai). Hiddai was one of the mighty men of King David (2 Samuel 23:30; 1 Chronicles 11:32).
