Gederoth

Gederoth was a town in the Shephelah, the low hills of Judah. It may be the modern site of Qatra. The town was given to the tribe of Judah as part of its land (Joshua 15:41). The Philistines later captured it during the reign of King Ahaz (2 Chronicles 28:18).
