Graveclothes
Graveclothes are pieces of cloth used to wrap a dead person before burial. In Bible times, people often wrapped the body in strips of linen cloth. They sometimes placed spices with the body.
The New Testament mentions graveclothes in the accounts of Lazarus and Jesus (John 11:44; 20:5–7).
