Guilt Offering
A guilt offering was a sacrifice made when a person had sinned against something holy or had harmed another person. The offering included an animal sacrifice. In some cases, the person also had to repay what was taken or damaged and add an extra amount (Leviticus 5:14–6:7; 7:1–7).
