Ira

A priest of King David or chief official in his service at the time of the revolt of Sheba (2 Samuel 20:26).

A warrior among the mighty men of King David, known as “the thirty” (2 Samuel 23:26). He was the son of Ikkesh of Tekoa (1 Chronicles 11:28; 27:9). He became a commander of the sixth division of the militia of David.
