Jephunneh

The father of Caleb. Caleb was one of the 12 spies sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan (Numbers 13:6; 14:6; 26:65; 1 Chronicles 4:15; 6:56). The Bible refers to Jephunneh as a Judahite and a Kenizzite (Joshua 14:6).

A son of Jether from the tribe of Asher (1 Chronicles 7:38).
