Judith (Person)

A daughter of Beeri the Hittite and one of the wives of Esau (Genesis 26:34). Genesis 36:2 calls her “Oholibamah.“

The main character in the book of Judith. She was a brave, beautiful Judean widow from Bethulia. She beheaded the Assyrian general Holofernes and saved her people from destruction.
