Letters of John

The letters of John are three short letters that are traditionally attributed to the apostle John. They are brief, but they discuss deep and important questions about Christian spiritual life.

The letters of John also help us understand the church near the end of the first century. False teaching was beginning to appear. The letters show concerns about church leadership and the life of local churches.

They also describe what it means to have a true relationship with God through Christ. This relationship is marked by faith, love, commitment, and obedience.

Each letter is discussed in its own article:

First Letter of John

Second Letter of John

Third Letter of John
