Leviathan

மூலம் · Source 3 அகராதிகளில்

Leviathan is a large and powerful sea monster mentioned several times in the Bible (Job 3:8;Psalms 74:14; 104:26; Isaiah 27:1). The exact identity of Leviathan is uncertain. Some scholars have identified it with large sea animals, such as a jellyfish, whale, or shark. Or, it may refer to a large reptile, such as the crocodile.

Some scholars suggest it might also include extinct animals like ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs, which were marine reptiles similar to dinosaurs. Additionally, it could refer to certain dinosaurs that lived partly in water. However, many scholars believe most references point to the crocodile.
