Nahalal

Nahalal was a city in the land of Zebulun (Joshua 19:15). It was given to the Levites (Joshua 21:35). The tribe of Zebulun was unable to remove the Canaanites from the city, so they made them slaves (Judges 1:30, where it is spelled “Nahalol”). The exact location of the city is unknown. Some possible locations include:

Tell el-Beida, south of modern Nahalal, and

Tell en-Nahl, north of the Kishon River, near the southern end of the plain of Acco, near modern Nahalal
