Nebushazban, Nebushasban

Nebushazban was a Babylonian officer (“the Rabsaris”) among those ordered to provide safety for the prophet Jeremiah after the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem (Jeremiah 39:13). Nebushazban is also spelled Nebushasban.
