New Birth

New birth refers to a spiritual beginning (a new start in a person’s relationship with God). It describes a change that God brings in a person’s life.
In the New Testament, new birth means that a person receives new life from God through the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit). It involves a new way of thinking, living, and relating to God (see John 3:3–8; Titus 3:5).
New birth is not about physical birth, but about being made new on the inside (an inner change in a person’s life).
