Ordination Offering
An ordination offering was a sacrifice presented when priests were appointed and set apart for service to God. It formed part of the ceremony that installed Aaron and his sons as priests (Exodus 29:1–37; Leviticus 8:1–36).
Some Bible translations use “installation offering” for the same sacrifice.
