Oven
An oven was used for baking bread and cooking other foods. In Bible times, ovens were usually made from clay or stone and were heated by burning wood, dried grass, or animal dung. Some ovens were built into the ground, while others were portable (Leviticus 2:4; Hosea 7:4–7).
