Pyramids
Pyramids are large stone structures built in ancient Egypt, often used as tombs (burial places) for kings.
They were built to honor rulers and to prepare them for the afterlife (life after death). The most famous pyramids are found near Giza.
These structures show the skill and organization of ancient Egyptian society.
