தாவீது: என்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோன் வாலிபனும் இளைஞனுமாக இருக்கிறான்; யெகோவாவுக்குக் கட்டப்படும் ஆலயம் சகல தேசங்களிலும் புகழும் மகிமையும் உடையதாக விளங்கும்படி மிகப்பெரியதாயிருக்க வேண்டும்; ஆகையால் அதற்காக வேண்டியவைகளை இப்பொழுதே சேமிக்க செய்யவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லி, தாவீது தன்னுடைய மரணத்திற்கு முன்னே அதிகமாக ஆயத்தம் செய்துவைத்தான்.

And David said, “My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent—famous and glorious throughout all lands. Therefore I must make preparations for it.” So David made lavish preparations before his death.
