தங்கள் பிதாகளுடைய குடும்பங்களின்படி, தகப்பன்மார்களில் தலைவனாக இருந்த லேவி சந்ததிகளின்படி பெயர்பெயராக குறிக்கப்பட்டபடி, தலைதலையாக எண்ணப்பட்ட இருபது வயதுமுதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட இவர்களுடைய சந்ததியார்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்துப் பணிவிடையைச் செய்தார்கள்.

These were the descendants of Levi by their families—the heads of families, registered individually by name—those twenty years of age or older who worked in the service of the house of the LORD.
