யூதர்களை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, யூதர்களுக்கு யூதனைப்போலவும், நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டவர்களை ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டவனைப்போலவும் ஆனேன்.

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), to win those under the law.
