அப்பொழுது தேவனுடைய மனிதன் ஒருவன் வந்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து: யெகோவா பள்ளத்தாக்குகளின் தேவனாக இல்லாமல், மலைகளின் தேவனாயிருக்கிறார் என்று சீரியர்கள் சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடியால், நான் இந்த ஏராளமான மக்கள் கூட்டத்தையெல்லாம் உன்னுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்; அதினால் நானே யெகோவா என்று நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

Then the man of God approached the king of Israel and said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Because the Arameans think the LORD is a god of the hills and not of the valleys, I will deliver all this great army into your hand. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
