கடந்த வாழ்நாட்களிலே நாம் யூதரல்லாத மக்கள் செய்ய விரும்புவதைபோல செய்துவந்தது போதும்; அப்பொழுது நாம் காமவிகாரத்தையும் தீயஆசைகளையும் நடத்தி, மதுஅருந்தியும், களியாட்டுச்செய்து, வெறிகொண்டு, அருவருப்பான விக்கிரக ஆராதனையைச் செய்துவந்தோம்.

For you have spent enough time in the past carrying out the same desires as the Gentiles: living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and detestable idolatry.
