அதற்கு அவன்: சமாதானம் தான்; யெகோவாவுக்குப் பலியிடவந்தேன்; நீங்கள் உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் செய்துகொண்டு, என்னோடு பலிவிருந்திற்கு வாருங்கள் என்றான்; மேலும் ஈசாயையும் அவனுடைய மகன்களையும் பரிசுத்தம்செய்து, அவர்களைப் பலிவிருந்திற்கு அழைத்தான்.

“In peace,” he replied. “I have come to sacrifice to the LORD. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.
