யெகோவா சாமுவேலை பார்த்து: நீ இவனுடைய முகத்தையும், இவனுடைய சரீர வளர்ச்சியையும் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; நான் இவனைப் புறக்கணித்தேன்; மனிதன் பார்க்கிறபடி நான் பார்க்கமாட்டேன்; மனிதன் முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பான்; யெகோவாவோ இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கிறார் என்றார்.

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or height, for I have rejected him; the LORD does not see as man does. For man sees the outward appearance, but the LORD sees the heart.”
