ஆனாலும் பெத்ஷிமேசின் மனிதர்கள் யெகோவாவுடைய பெட்டிக்குள் பார்த்தபடியினால், யெகோவா மக்களில் ஐம்பதினாயிரத்து எழுபதுபேரை அடித்தார்; அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மக்களைப் பேரழிவாக அடித்ததினால், மக்கள் துக்கமாக இருந்தார்கள்.
