அப்பொழுது பெயர் குறிக்கப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள் எழும்பி, சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்டவர்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, அவர்களில் ஆடையில்லாத அனைவருக்கும் கொள்ளையில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட ஆடைகளைக் கொடுத்து, ஆடைகளையும் காலணிகளையும் அணிவித்து, அவர்களுக்கு சாப்பிடவும் குடிக்கவும் கொடுத்து, அவர்களுடைய காயங்களுக்கு எண்ணெய் பூசி, அவர்களில் பெலவீனமானவர்களையெல்லாம் கழுதைகள்மேல் ஏற்றி, பேரீச்சை மரங்களின் பட்டணமாகிய எரிகோவிலே அவர்கள் சகோதரர்களிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்துவிட்டு, சமாரியாவுக்குத் திரும்பினார்கள்.
