அப்பொழுது அரசாட்சிக்காகவும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்காகவும் யூதாவுக்காகவும் ஏழு காளைகளையும், ஏழு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும், ஏழு ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளையும், ஏழு வெள்ளாட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் பாவநிவாரணபலியாகக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; அவைகளைக் யெகோவாவுடைய பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் பலியிடுங்கள் என்று அவன் ஆசாரியராகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததியான மகன்களுக்குச் சொன்னான்.

They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats as a sin offering for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And the king commanded the priests, the descendants of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
