யெகோவா இந்த ராஜாவை வாதித்ததால், அவன் தன் மரணநாள்வரை தொழுநோயாளியாக இருந்து, தனித்து ஒரு வீட்டிலே குடியிருந்தான்; ராஜாவின் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அரண்மனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தான்.

And the LORD afflicted the king with leprosy until the day he died, so that he lived in a separate house while his son Jotham had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.
