அதற்கு அவர்கள்: நீதிமானும், தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவரும், யூதமக்களால் நல்லவரென்று சாட்சி பெற்றவருமாகிய கொர்நேலியு என்னும் நூறுபேர்கொண்ட படைப்பிரிவின் தலைவர் உம்மைத் தன்னுடைய வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்து, உம்மால் சொல்லப்படும் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கும்படி தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த தூதனாலே கட்டளை பெற்றார் என்றார்கள்.

“Cornelius the centurion has sent us,” they said. “He is a righteous and God-fearing man with a good reputation among the whole Jewish nation. A holy angel instructed him to request your presence in his home so he could hear a message from you.”
