அக்காலத்திலே யெகோவாவுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைச் சுமப்பதற்கும், இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நடந்துவருகிறதுபோல, யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியிலே நின்று அவருக்கு ஆராதனை செய்வதற்கும், அவருடைய நாமத்தைக்கொண்டு ஆசீர்வதிப்பதற்கும், யெகோவா லேவியின் கோத்திரத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தார்.

At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to serve Him, and to pronounce blessings in His name, as they do to this day.
