“உன் தாய்க்குப் பிறந்த உன்னுடைய சகோதரனாகிலும், உன்னுடைய மகனாகிலும், மகளாகிலும், உன் மனைவியாகிலும், உன் உயிரைப்போலிருக்கிற உன்னுடைய நண்பனாகிலும் உன்னை நோக்கி: நாம் போய் வேறே தெய்வங்களை வணங்குவோம் வாருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி,

If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (which neither you nor your fathers have known,
