நீ எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாளை நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாட்களெல்லாம் நினைக்கும்படி, பஸ்கா பலியுடனே புளிப்புள்ள அப்பம் சாப்பிடாமல், சிறுமையின் அப்பமாகிய புளிப்பில்லா அப்பங்களை ஏழுநாட்கள் வரைக்கும் சாப்பிடுவாயாக; நீ விரைவாக எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டபடியினால் இப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டும்.

You must not eat leavened bread with it; for seven days you are to eat with it unleavened bread, the bread of affliction, because you left the land of Egypt in haste—so that you may remember for the rest of your life the day you left the land of Egypt.
